Police Pin NK Woman For Credit Card Fraud

A North Kingstown woman is facing charges of stealing a credit card and racking up $3,000 worth of charges and cash withdrawals.

North Kingstown police arrested a North Kingstown woman suspected of credit card fraud yesterday after a months-long investigation, according to WPRI.

Lisa St. Laurent, 30, of North Kingstown was arrested by police after allegedly stealing a credit card from a Jamestown residence on April 24. Since then, St. Laurent reportedly used the credit card at several stores and ATMs in North Kingstown, East Greenwich and Providence.

According to police, St. Laurent racked up more than $3,000 in charges and withdrawals before the cardholder discovered the credit card was missing.
