Police Identify Driver in Thursday Night Crash

A Narragansett woman is facing drunken driving charges.

Police have identified the alleged drunk driver in .

Camilla Campanale of Narragansett is facing charged of drunk driving (serious bodily injury resulting) and refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to the , Campanale was driving southbound on Post Road Thursday around 11:30 p.m. when her car broadsided another vehicle exiting the gas station. 

Campanale was taken to Kent County Hospital while the two juvenile passengers in the other vehicle went to Hasbro Children's Hospital, all for non-life threatening injuries.

Campanale was released from the hospital and immediately taken into custody by North Kingstown police. She was arraigned and released on $5,000 personal recognizance.

As of 4 a.m. Friday morning, the driver of the other vehicle is in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
