Stanley allegedly lit his ex-girlfriend’s car on fire, went inside her place of employment to tell her so and then left the area. An officer saw him walking up Boston Neck Road and tried to get his attention, but he ignored her. Stanley allegedly tried to run across the road away from the officer and, after a brief struggle, she was able to get him in handcuffs and place him under arrest.

He also allegedly told the officer that he set the car on fire ever after he was read his Miranda rights. According to reports, he appeared to be under the influence. At one point, he asked police to drive him past the car to see the fire so he “could make sure it was worth it.”
