The following information was supplied by the North Kingstown Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Man Busted for Crack Cocaine Possession

Roosevelt Louis Dale, 23, of 580 Devils Foot Road, Apt. C201 in North Kingstown, was arrested Feb. 22 at 10:10 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and domestic disorderly conduct and a felony charge of possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell.

Police responded to Dale’s apartment after receiving a call of a domestic dispute. Inside, officers saw the apartment was in disarray with a television knocked over, debris on the floor and laundry detergent stains on the floor and walls. Fearing that Dale had a weapon on him, police conducted a pat down and allegedly found Dale clutching two clear plastic bags filled with a off-white, powdery  rock substance in his sweatshirt pocket. According to one of the officers, the substance looked like crack cocaine. They placed Dale in handcuffs.
