NK Police Log: Man Allegedly Throws Parents' Food Into Narragansett Bay

Allegedly Intoxicated Man Bangs Head Against Wall

Cody James Cirelli, 20, of 1275 Old Baptist Road, Apt. B, in North Kingstown, was arrested June 10 at 8:42 p.m. on charges of domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

Police arrived at Cirelli’s residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, officers found Cirelli was highly intoxicated and had several cuts on his face and a large bruise on his forehead, according to reports. Cirelli told officers his injuries were from the prior night, reports indicate. When asked about what appeared to be newly-acquired bruises on his forehead, Cirelli allegedly told officers that the bruises were from him hitting his head against a wall.

According to police, Cirelli initially denied drinking alcohol then admitted that he was highly intoxicated the night before and cut his face when he fell over a fence. Cirelli allegedly told police he decided to finish drinking his remaining Hennessy before going to a neighbor’s party that evening.

According to a family member, Cirelli returned home and appeared highly agitated when the family member tried to give him something to eat. Cirelli was allegedly running up and down the hallway, banging on the walls and screaming about “random things.” According to reports, Cirelli began slamming his head against the wall, creating holes in the sheet rock. Cirelli was arrested and held a probation violator.

Man Allegedly Throws Parents' Food Over Seawall

John F. Fahey, 48, of 151 Buena Vista Drive in North Kingstown, was arrested June 10 at 8:08 p.m. on charges of domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

Fahey’s parents called police and asked that their adult son be removed from the residence as he was allegedly throwing their belongings over the seawall behind their home. When police arrived, Fahey allegedly refused to answer officers’ questions and told them, “I’m enacting my first, fifth, ninth and fourteenth amendments.”

According to reports, Fahey became angry with his parents over missing receipts for his medications and began removing items from the freezer — including Klondike bars, frozen vegetables and other perishables — and throwing them over the seawall.

He is scheduled for arraignment in Third District Court on June 26.

Man Charged With Kidnapping Son Caught in NK

Jeffrey Louis Martell, 30, of 7255 Post Road, Apt. 7 in North Kingstown, was arrested June 11 at 3:45 p.m. on felony charges as a fugitive from justice.

Martell allegedly kidnapped his four-year-old son in South Carolina. Authorities in Bamberg County contacted the North Kingstown Police Department to request a warrant attempt for Martell, whose current address is in North Kingstown.

Dennis Warner Ricci, 44, of 20 Forestwood Drive in Smithfield, was arrested June 11 at 5:34 p.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license. He is scheduled for arraignment in Third District Court on June 26.

Justin A. Iaciofano, 25, of 52 Asqah Drive in North Kingstown, was arrested June 12 at 4:10 p.m. following a bench warrant for his arrest.

Perfecto Orosco, 39, of 620 Devils Foot Road, Apt. 1 in North Kingstown, was arrested June 13 at 9:28 p.m. following a bench warrant for his arrest.
