Male Enhancement Formula Allegedly Found in Intoxicated Man's Car

Police found a man parked in the middle of the road in front of Beechwood Senior Center, slumped over the seat and strongly smelling of alcohol. Also in the car, police allegedly found two bottles of an over-the-counter male enhancement formula.

The 49-year-old man allegedly said he was out to drinks with a local woman who dropped him off at the town beach area before leaving. When police questioned the man further, he told officers, “I’m just trying to get laid, okay man?”

According to reports, police spoke to the man’s date that night, who told officers she left him at the town beach parking lot after he got too drunk. According to police, the woman became frustrated during questioning and requested that officers leave her home.

Teen Charged With Shoplifting From Kohl's

Samantha Nappa, 18, of 30 School St. in North Kingstown, was arrested Oct. 23 at 2:11 p.m. on charges of shoplifting from Kohl’s.

Nappa allegedly went into the juniors fitting room with a pair of pajama pants and two wallets, exiting the room with only one wallet visible. Inside the changing room, an employee allegedly found the tags for the merchandise. The total value of the stolen merchandise was $56.

She is scheduled to appear in Third District Court on Nov. 8.

 Other Arrests...

  • Jeffrey Allen Gardiner Sr., 46, of 16 Dayton Ct. in North Kingstown, was arrested Oct. 20 at 8:37 a.m. following a warrant for his arrest.
  • Cristee Jo Nugent, 26, of 2 First St. in Coventry, was arrested Oct. 21 at 9:22 p.m. on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct. Nugent allegedly hit a man in the head with a car door multiple times and slapped him following an altercation.
  • Terry L. Bruskie, 25, of 561 Lafayette Rd. in North Kingstown, was arrested Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. following four outstanding warrants for his arrest.
  • Henry Alfonso Velasquez, 35, of 32 Renaudet St. in West Warwick, was arrested Oct. 17 at 11:59 p.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license. Police pulled Velasquez over after allegedly clocking him at 52 mph in a 35-mph zone on Post Road. According to reports, Velasquez did not have a license after it was suspended last year following an accident. He is slated to appear in Third District Court on Nov. 8.
