Missing Dad Found Alive

A Barrington father reported missing in North Kingstown has been found by police.

A Barrington father reported missing after experiencing car trouble in North Kingstown yesterday has been found by police.

"He's been found and he's fine," said Police Chief Thomas Mulligan.

According to Mulligan, the NK Harbor Master Capt. Ed Hughes found the missing man – Ted Crane of Barrington – walking along the shore near Quonset in the area of Hope Island around 11:30 a.m. Friday morning. He was transported to the hospital for treatment and to be checked for dehydraton. According to Mulligan, Crane appeared to be in good health (though slightly disheveled).

Family reported Crane (a father of three) missing after experiencing car trouble on Route 403 near School Street while on his way to work at the Regatta building on Post Road in North Kingstown Thursday morning. Crane contacted his wife but then left his cell phone in his car afterward and did not contact his family a second time.

Hmm, maybe he didn't want his wife to know where he really was. Haha.
