Juveniles Caught on Davisville Middle School Roof

The teens told police they scaled a fence behind the building to get access.

Two juveniles were caught on the roof of Davisville Middle School on Sunday afternoon and could be charged with trespassing.

North Kingstown Police said they were dispatched to the school at around 4:35 p.m. for a report of a juvenile on the roof.

A responding officer saw two juveniles jump off the roof when he arrived.

Both teens, 14, said they scaled the fence behind the building to get onto the roof and denied entering the building.

Police said there were no signs of malicious damage or entry to the building.

The teens' parents were notified and they responded to pick them up.

The matter is under investigation and police said it was forwarded to detectives for review and possible charges.
