Exeter Teen Injured in Late Night Rollover

A 19-year-old Exeter man suffered minor injuries following a rollover early Tuesday morning.

An Exeter teenager suffered minor injuries after an accident on Ten Rod Road early Tuesday morning.

Nicholas Dailey, 19, of Exeter apparently lost control of his vehicle while driving south on Ten Rod Road around 1:34 a.m. on Tuesday. According to Sgt. Pardington of the Rhode Island State Police, the 19-year-old man left the roadway and continued up a grass embankment before striking the cement stairs in front of 580 Ten Rod Road, causing the car to roll over onto its driver's side.

Dailey was transported by reschue to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. According to Sgt. Pardington, police do not believe that speed or alcohol were factors in the crash. The matter is still under investigation.
