Beware...

I bought an 03 Mazda tribute from Pilgrim motors back in February. The price on the car was high but I did manage to get them down a bit (not too much though). I thought there was nothing wrong with the car as I explained to Dana (owner) that I have 3 small children and I need something safe and reliable for my family. I was helped and assured that there is nothing wrong and if anything were to happen they will help me, even signing the as is warranty. I had the car for 5 maybe 6 weeks and the transmission stopped driving. I called several times before I finally talked to Dana. She had no sympathy and said "sorry but we are not doing anything we could not forsee any issues so we are not responsible". I called around and got prices *1800*. I called Dana and got the receptionist I was told to leave my name and number. No call back.I called a few more times and still nothing. I stopped by and they were on vacation. How sweet they get to take a vacation. So I left another message and still nothing. When you call they always say she is not in and the can take your number but she never returns your call. They are unavailable and are in no way capable of running a good business. They take your money for a lemon and go on a nice vacation with it. Stay away from this place. Now I am stuck with a car that has an 1800 dollar transmission bill three children a full time job and no transportation. As for Dana and her Husband at Pilgrim Motors you should be ashamed of yourselves. I understand a business is there to make money but to scam people is wrong. I recommend elsewhere.
