North Kingstown is a military friendly town.

Last night a Yellow Ribbon Reintegration event was held for the families of deployed soldiers at the North Kingstown Community Center. A great barbeque by Oak Hill Tavern's Company Picnic Company and an outdoor movie was on tap for the evening. Together with the cooperation of the Town of North Kingstown the ESGR , the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce, the merchants of Wickford and beyond that contributed to make this night a success. Thank you- Allies Donuts for the wonderful themed donut cakes, The Wickford Collection for the generous gift certificate, Smiths Castle, Cox Communications, The Grateful Heart, A Bit of The West, Midnight Sun, Green Ink, Back to Basics (EG), RIAR Troop Support Task Force and Taylor Rental.
