Services Scheduled For Fatal Crash Victim

Tina Rogers, 41, was killed in a car crash over the weekend. Her funeral services are scheduled for this Friday and Saturday.

Tina Rogers, 41, of North Kingstown passed away Saturday, Nov. 10 in a car crash on Annaquatucket Road. She leaves behind her two children – James R. Alyward III and Whitney L. Alyward of North Kingstown. 

Originally from Jasper, TX, she was the daughter of Linda (Mudge) Wynne of North Kingstown and the late James D. Rogers. She was the step-daughter of James L. Wynne.

Rogers was a supervisor at Cox Communications and worked at their South Kingstown and Middletown stores. Rogers loved spending time with her family; cooking and entertaining. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music and movies. She found her greatest reward in helping others.

Besides her children, mother and step-father, she leaves a brother Keith Pierce and his wife Wendy of Richmond; two sisters, Dee Dee Young and her husband Peter of North Kingstown and Neecy Freyermuth and her husband John of Plymouth, MA; four nieces, three nephews and many relatives in Rhode Island, Texas and Los Angeles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Requiem Eucharist, Saturday Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Main Street, Wickford. Burial will be in . Visiting hours Friday 4 to 8 p.m. in the . I
