Obituary: Ruth D. Malefant, 78, Beloved Mother, Grandmother
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 28th at 10:00am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown.
Ruth D. Malenfant, 78, of North Kingstown, passed away May 24, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerard E, Malenfant.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Nellie (Stepka) Laboissonniere. Mrs. Malenfant was a graduate St. Xavier High School.
She was devoted to her family and her faith. She cherished her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Gerard Malenfant, Jr. (Lorraine), Michael Malenfant (Deborah), Janice Malenfant and Susan Blue (Michael); grandchildren, Stephanie, Jesse, Samantha, Ruthie and Renee; great grandchildren, Jason, Jr. and Evie and her brother, George Laboissonniere.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 28th at 10:00am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours: Tuesday, May 27th 5-7pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
