Obituary: Phyllis A. Morin

Phyllis A. Morin passed away this past weekend at the age of 67.

Phyllis A. Morin – born in Waterbury, CT – passed away Saturday, Aug. 25 surrounded by her family. She was 67 years old. Morin was born to the late Richard and Hazel (Dowling) Berger of Connecticut. She leaves behind her husband, Philip R. Morin.

Morin worked for Davisville Credit Union and Fleet Bank in consumer marketing for many years before retiring. She was an avid reader and gardener, as well as a communicant of St. Bernard Church. Additionally, she loved spending time with and spoiling her three granddaughters.

Aside from her husband, she leaves behind her two sons (David Morin of Exeter and Andrew Morin of Virginia), three brothers (Richard Berger of Florida, Robert Berger of Connecticut and Joseph Berger of New York), a sister (Frances Berger of Connecticut) and three granddaughters (Abigale, Celina and Juliet). She was the sister of the late Michael Berger.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. at . Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
