Obituary: Ninna Dominick, 88, Member of the Quails

Ninna Dominick passed away peacefully on June 4, 2014.  

Ninna was born in Reykjavik Iceland on October 29, 1925.  She moved from Reykjavik to New London CT to be married to her husband Henry Dominick in 1947.  

Ninna resided in North Kingstown RI, for many years.  She was a generous person who loved her family.  She was employed as a Seamstress at The Orange Flower in Wickford and at the Navy Exchange Distribution Center where she became a member of the Quails. The Quails have remained some of her dearest friends.

She is predeceased by her husband and sons Eddie and Dale Dominick.  Also by Dales’ wife Christina (Anderson) Dominick.  

Ninna is survived by 3 grandsons, Steven Dominick and Richard Girard of Rhode Island and Robert Connors of Florida.  She will be missed by her brothers Billi and Biddi Björnsson and sister Birna Bjrönsdóttir in Iceland, the Bob and David Regan and Pat Lee families of CT, and many others.

A Committal Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.  Relatives & friends are invited and asked to meet at the Administration Building at 10:45 am prior to the service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
