Obituary: Elizabeth 'Bette' Shaw

Bette Shaw of North Kingstown passed away this week.

Elizabeth A. Shaw (Booth), also known as Bette, passed away on Dec. 2 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Paul W. Shaw of the 82nd Airborne, to whom she was married for 46 years.

A longtime resident of Dracut, MA, Shaw relocated to NK in her later years to enjoy the seaside and adventure with her son Capt. Paul W. Shaw II. She enjoyed the outdoors with her family and friends including sailing and car shows, and always enjoyed a cold beer. Always willing to try something new, she was eager for adventure, and made those around her comfortable with her warm smile. She loved animals and also enjoyed her birds named "Bonnie & Clyde," for obvious reasons.
