Eleanor L. (Lucas) Bapties, 91, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, surrounded by her family, at South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Bapties, Sr. Born in North Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel E. Lucas & Susan R. (Kenyon) Lucas.
Mrs. Bapties was employed as a Nurse's Aid at the former Ladd School of Exeter until her retirement.
She leaves her three loving children: Albert E. Bapties, Jr. of North Kingstown, James E. Bapties of North Kingstown, and Susan E. McGrath of Jamestown. Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Reginald E. Lucas, Lloyd M. Lucas, and Evelyn A. Jackson.
Her Funeral & Burial in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
