Doris R. (Hackett) Clark of Burnt Cedar Drive in North Kingstown passed away Monday, Aug. 20. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Donald E. Clark.
Known as "Dottie," Clark was born in Providence to the late Leo and Laurea (Lowell) Hackett. She was an administrative assistant for the Holiday Inn in Providence for many years before retiring.

Additionally, Clark was a communicant of . Aside from her husband, she leaves behind her son (Leo D. Clark of Narragansett), two daughters (Donna L. Smilowitz of California and Lori J. Merola of North Kingstown), a sister (Eleanor F. Smith), four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Her funeral is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24 at 9 a.m. at . A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church. Her burial will be held at . Visiting hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
