Obituary: Doris L. Moon, 88

Doris L. Moon, formerly Asselin, of Lafayette Road in North Kingstown passed away Jan. 25. She was 88 years old. She was the wife of the late Frank O. Moon.

Mon worked at Stanley Bostitch for many years before retiring. She was honorary member emerita of the Old Time Fiddlers Club of RI. She was an excellent hostess to her family, friends and members of the Old Time Fiddlers Club. She enjoyed her home and her flower garden. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church.

She leaves her son, David A. Duff and his wife Kathleen of Plano, TX; two grandsons, Michael and Jason Duff of Texas; and a great-granddaughter, Madeleine.

Visiting hours Friday, Feb. 1 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 2 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions to your favorite charity will be appreciated.
