North Kingstown native and mother of five passed away on May 20.

Cecelia May Winsor (formerly Fowler) passed away peacefully upon reaching her 88th birthday on Monday, May 20th, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by a son, Russell Holland, and three daughters, Kristine Armour (Keith), Deborah Evans (Jack), and Susan Whitmarsh, as well as eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Brian Winsor.

Born in North Kingstown, RI on May 20, 1925, she lived in RI her entire life. She worked in the kitchen at North Kingstown High School for many years.
Known as Nana to her family and Ceil to her friends, she epitomized strength and toughness, and always lived life on her own terms. She never failed to find a reason to celebrate and be celebrated. Enjoying golf, playing cards, and traveling, she took great pleasure in the company of her friends and family and the pursuit of her interests.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cecelia's funeral and burial will be private.
