Barbara L. Robertson, formerly of Harwich, MA, passed away this week in North Kingstown.

Barbara L. Robertson passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21 at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in North Kingstown at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Re. Doctor John Prescott Robertson for 68 years. Born in Medford, MA, she was the only child of Marguerite and Philip Lewis.
After graduating from Jackson College (Tufts University), Robertson served with her late husband as "wife of the minister" in four parishes spanning five decades. She served with the YMCA and Boyt Home in Wakefield, MA and the Pilgrim Service League and Cranberry Valley Golf Course in Harwich, MA. Additionally, Robertson was an avid golfer, sports enthusiast and voracious reader, participating in numerous book clubs over the years.

She leaves behind her five children (David L. Robertson of New Jersey, Joanne H. Thistle of Massachusetts, Carol Szwed of Massachusetts, Martha T. Sullivan of Massachusetts and Donald S. Robertson of North Kingstown), seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private in South Chatham, MA.
