Community Update

BEWARE of this company, they are completely incompetent and the low prices are not worth the headache and horrible service.

I bought a $10 Groupon for 50$ worth of laundry services. They pick up your laundry at your address and claim to return it the following day. I contacted the company and set a date to have some coats and dresses to be pick up at my address to be dry clean. My clothes came back the following day and one coat was missing and two other coats had been damaged. The main damage was on a purple Soia coat which was very badly damaged and smell very strong to chemical products.

I called the company and left a voice message. I explained to the customer representative that they are all expensive coats and I was very attached to them. The following day they call me and they don´t know what happened to my missing coat. She says she is going to find out. I keep on waiting and when she finally calls me back she says that they have it and because it has a fur collar it will take longer to be cleaned. Their website says that it takes only one day, no mention of any other times or any other prices besides what is posted. I then explain about the damage to my other two coats. She says that I need to send them back for them to have a look and that a driver is going to pick them up from my house.

Over a week later I get a message on my answer phone saying that the damage to the coats is from storage and not from dry cleaning and they are going to return them. This is impossible because I looked at them before sending them to dry cleaning and there was no damage. I did take some pictures before sending my purple coat back and I still have pictures that prove my coat was totally ruined.

Next Monday and Tuesday, they are not returned, I am at home in the evening both days and paying attention and no one rings the bell or drops anything on the back porch, nothing. I call the number, no answer, I leave a message, no reply. I assume the following week they are coming back. Again the same, no coats, no answer. When I manage to talk to the same woman again she is unsure about my coats she says she is going to check and call me back. She never calls me back. I call again and same thing, she thinks they were returned and she says she is going to call me back.

Finally on 11/13 I write an email saying that I am feeling very frustrated and upset about their service and that I want my coats back. I love my clothes, I take very good care of them, it has been very upsetting to not know what is happening with them.

After many phone calls and messages to get my coats back they tell me that the coats were returned and they are not liable if someone took them from my porch. They damaged my coats and decided to not return them so they won't be liable for the damage. I have filled a consumer complaint already, I wish I had read the bad reviews before using their services.
