The NK Groundwater Committee and the NK Water Department are

and open to the public.  Donation of a
non-perishable food item for the NK Food Pantry is encouraged..

Mark Depasquale, owner of the wind
turbine off Ten Rod road, will have a table and answer attendee questions about
what it is like to live within 250 ft of a huge wind turbine in terms of
residential impact, flicker, ice throw and noise.  He will also be signing up interested attendees and kids for
future tours to his turbine.

Also of interest at the Fair, CCRI's Engineering Department will be
demonstrating how wind turbines generate electricity and will have hands on
demos with kids and their parents through the Kool Kids Learning Passport
