IT'S FASHIONISTA MONTH AT EG LIBRARY!

Get ready to strut down the runway as the Friends of East

Greenwich Free Library present two high fashion events:

Ever wonder exactly who decides what next year’s

trends will be? On January 18th 2 pm, show up unfashionably

on time for a screening of "The

September Issue" with an introduction by EG resident Diane McCraken of

Johnson & Wales Fashion Merchandising Department
. This revealing and

sometimes funny documentary is a rare look inside the workings of

Vogue magazine as editor Anna Wintour and creative director Grace Coddington

produce the heavyweight September issue. Commentary and introduction by

East Greenwich resident Diane McCrohan, professor of Fashion Merchandising at

Johnson & Wales University.  Every summer Diane takes a class

of her students to fashion houses of Florence and Milan for studies.
