Join wildlife rehabilitators from the Born To Be Wild Nature Center to learn what you can do to help wild animals coexist with us. Loss of habitat is the biggest threat facing Rhode Island’s wildlife, but there are many daily choices people make that impact wildlife. Discover ways to help protect our most vulnerable species while enhancing the welfare of all our wild neighbors. Meet three wildlife ambassadors, a hawk, an owl and a falcon. Born To Be Wild Nature Center, operated by John and Vivian Maxson, is R.I.’s only raptor rehabilitation center. The center is located in Bradford, R.I. and cares for injured and orphaned wildlife. Please register. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
