Lori Duffy, LICSW has over 15 years of experience working with children and families from all over the state. Lori has worked for several well respected agencies in RI. She started her career working with at risk adolescents and soon changed her focus to working with younger children in home based and educational settings. For six years she was at Psychological Centers, in which she was the Senior Clinical Supervisor in their Children's Community Based Services program.
Currently, Lori maintains her own private practice in which she specializes in working with families with young children. She provides coaching, consultation and counseling to parents and children. Some of the common issues that she helps parents address include: disruptive and defiant behavior, sleep problems, anxiety and adjustment problems, and parent-child conflict, as well as adult mood disorders.
In addition to working in her private practice, she is also an adjunct professor in the Social Work Department at Rhode Island College. This is also where she received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work. She is a long time South County resident where she and her husband are raising their two adorable children."
