March Mystery Month with Author Peter Abrahams aka Spencer Quinn

March Mystery Month continues at Newport Public Library with the arrival of Peter Abrahams aka Spencer Quinn on Saturday, March 23rd at 2 pm in the Program Room, lower level. This event is free and open to the public however there is seating for only 50 so it will be a first come, first serve basis-doors will open at 1:30 pm.


The New York Tiimes Book Review has called Abrahams "criminally gifted" and to date he is the author of 28 novels-for middle school readers, Young Adults and mystery loving adult readers.  During this visit to Newport he will discuss his latest book in the popular Chet and Bernie Mystery Series. Book Five in the series A Fistful of Collars will be highlighted. The book came out late last year and was on the NYT best seller list.  When not writing Peter enjoys life with his family on Cape Cod.


To add to the fun of this event an invited canine visitor and his owner will attend plus there will be volunteers from The Potter League-Middletown with flyers on how you can adopt a dog or cat from Potter-for your family. Bring the kids for fun.  This is a call to all mystery readers young and old!
