Snow is heading our way Thursday night, but will it stay on the ground for more than a few hours?
According to the National Weather Service, that's a negative. Though there's a 90 percent chance of snow tonight – primarily before 4 a.m. – officials are predicting that we'll awaken to find little or no snow accumulation. At most, the National Weather Service is predicting less than half an inch of snow in the area. High temperatures in the mid 30s and sunshine are in the forecast for Friday.
Friday night, however, will bring another chance of snow – albeit a 30 percent chance of snow – with little to now accumulation expected. Temperatures will drop down into the teens Friday night and into Saturday morning.
