Why Go: Turn off the tube this weekend and bring the family down to Kingston for some good old fashion live entertianment. This '60s era musical shows the journey of big-haired teenager as she aspires to reach her dreams of dancing on television.

When: Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: The Community Center, 44 Beach St., Wickford

Why Go: Lots of games and prizes for everyone, including gift baskets, pet items, baked goods, silent auction and raffle prizes will entice animal lovers of all ages.  All proceeds will benefit the no kill animal shelter on Stony Lane.

Pricing: Free admission

When: Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Where: CCRI Warwick Campus, 400 East Ave., Warwick

Why Go: Learn more about the exciting opportunities offered by the United States Service Academies and how you may be able to earn a Congressional nomination to attend one of these institutions.  Representatives from each of the academies will be available to answer questions and distribute information.

Pricing: Free, Open to all.

When: Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: St. Luke's Church, 99 Peirce St, East Greenwich

Why Go: The clowns are here!  Join us for this 40+ year West Bay tradition.  Clown Town is a day of fun for children age 2 to 12 years old sponsored by the non-profit Greenwich Bay Women's Club.  The day will include  games, prizes, face painting, food, pictures with the Easter Bunny and more.

There will be a fantastic Basket Bonanza raffle that will go on all day.  The proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Scholarship Fund.

Pricing: Free Admission - games cost $0.25-0.75 each.

When: Sunday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Goddard Memorial Park, 1075 Ives Road, East Greenwich

Why Go: The Autism Project is hosting its 9th Annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day for Autism in conjunction with National Autism Awareness month. 

The walk is followed by a family fun day event that features an assortment of free activities designed for children and teens with autism including: a reptile show, karaoke, obstacle course, bounce house, face painting, arts and crafts, and more.
