Town Council Meeting | canceled

Monday night's council meeting has been canceled after an incorrect agenda was posted last week. Stay tuned for the rescheduled date.

Tuesday

School Committee Meeting | 6 p.m at

The committee kicks off Tuesday night's meeting in executive session, discussing litigation/legal advice regarding the town's suit against the school department. Following that, the committee will discuss budget issues coming up for this year and a budget forecast for the next five years. (Click here for the full agenda.)

The Rhode Island Blood Center will be holding a blood drive at gymnasium on Cripe Street Tuesday morning.

Join the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce for a business after hours at the Fish Market. Remember those business cards!

Thursday

Quidnessett families are invited to join in for an evening of bingo. Refreshments will be available and admission is free.

Fishing Cove families are invited to attend a special charity pasta dinner. Bring toiletry items to be donated to NK’s Reach Out From the Heart program – which supports NK families in need. Students will also be making valentines to send to our troops overseas.

Friday

Join the Chamber every last Friday of the month for its new innovation series. Tuni Renaud Schartner of Deep Blue Technologies will be sharing easy and painless ways to make the most of networking. Reservations are requested.

Saturday

| 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee’s in South Kingstown

Support the North Kingstown High School boys and girls swim team Saturday morning at the Applebee’s in South County Commons. For $5, enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast.
