Students Learn From Veterans At Quonset
The National Guard invited students from around the state to Veterans Appreciation Day at Quonset last week.
The National Guard held Veterans Appreciation Day at Quonset on Thursday for hundreds of high school and middle school students from around the state. In addition to getting to check out all sorts of military equipment and vehicles, the students sat down with veterans from wars from Iraq and Afghanistan back to Vietnam and Korea.
