We haven't seen the last of wintry weather this week. According to the National Weather Service, Rhode Island is getting more snow – tonight.
Luckily, this storm system is nothing like the blizzard that dropped 20 inches on the area over the weekend, knocking out power to thousands in North Kingstown. According to projections, North Kingstown is expected to see a light accumulation of one to two inches of snow tonight. Thursday's morning commute may be a bit tricky due to the precipitation.
But, that's not all. Multiple weather organizations are keeping a close eye on another weather system that could bring more substantial snowfal to the area Sunday. Forecasters are still determining the storm's path, which could either hit the northeast or passed south of us and heading to the Atlantic Ocean. This storm could potentialy bring more snow, but not as much as last weekend's blizzard.
