  3. The North Kingstown police union will award $1,500 to three youth sports groups in town. The Wickford Little League, North Kingstown Little League and the North Kingstown Jaguars will each receive $500 from the union.
  4. Calling all aspiring fashion designers! North Kingstown students are invited to join the Career Center Speaker Series at it hosts Suzanne Mancini, a fashion design and merchandising instructor at the University of Rhode Island. Tomorrow night, the series will host author Donna Russo Morin. () Both events will be held at the high school.
  5. Still more cold weather today as temperatures sit in the high 40s. There's a slight chance for snow tonight after 1 a.m. Tomorrow will look similar to today with highs around 47 and yet another chance of a snow/rain mixture between midnight and 5 a.m., with snow likely after 5 a.m. Accumulation is predicted to be less than half an inch. (Phew!)
