  1. The North Kingstown Town Council meets again today at 1 p.m. at Town Hall. Tonight's meeting will mainly be a discussion between the Town Council and the municipal department heads to discuss their budget submittal. The public hearing for residents looking to comment on the budget will have the opportunity during the council's April 11 meeting.
  2. The North Kingstown Community Chorus will be traveling north of the border to Ottawa, Canada for a special concert tour this summer from June 28 through July 2. Along with several singing engagements, the chorus will be enjoying the sights and attractiosn of Canada's capital city as they celebrate their Independence day. If you'd like to join the chorus, .
  3. Looking for a neat after-school activity to occupy the kiddies? Head down to the Willett Free Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for storytime with crafts or snacks.
  4. Spike down cabin fever with the recreation department’s . Head over to after Monday dinners for some friendly competition from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
  5. Yesterday may have been the first day of spring, but we'll have to wait awhile until it feels like it. This morning will start off with a mix of rain...and snow. Yes, we said the "s" word. We're sorry. After 3 p.m., officials anticipate precipitation will switch over to all around. Little to no snow accumulation is expected.
