Medicinal plants in your backyard: Join herbalist Kristin Minto on a walking tour of seaside historic Watson Farm.  Learn how common yard plants can be used medicinally. Discover the history of herbal plant use, identification, and medicinal uses of common weeds. Learn simple techniques for using herbs in your daily life. Bring a lunch, make a day of it, and stay for a self-guided walking tour of the  Farm. Watson Farm, owned and operated by Historic New England, is a 265-acre working farm located in Jamestown. 10 a.m.

‘Little Mermaid’ Fundraiser: Students in grades 1 through 8 will be performing The Little Mermaid Jr. on June 29 and 30 at North Kingstown High School. They are holding a fundraiser at Junction Trattoria & Bistro will help raise funds for program.  You are invited to come and let our terrific students wait on you (and entertain you) to earn 10 percent of food sales and all tips. From 5 to 9 p.m.
