Five Things: Stories In Stone, Arts Council, Chamber Open House

Your guide for life in North Kingstown today, June 12.

NK Chamber Open House:
If you drove by the Chamber after the Blizzard, you may have seen a huge tree in our roof. Repairs have been made thanks to a generous donation from National Building Products. Everyone is invited to come see their renovated office space including a new conference room that’s available for rentals. From noon to 7 p.m., 8045 Post Road.

Stories in Stone: “Stories in Stone” is a film about the Narragansett Tribal stonemasons who, over the last four hundred years, have built many stonewalls that wind picturesquely through the woods of southern New England. It will be shown at 6:30 p.m. at the NK Free Library. Filmmaker Marc Levitt will be here to present the film and to discuss his inspiration and the making of the film. Please register by calling 294-3306.

NK Arts Council meeting: The Arts Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Cold Spring Community Center. Click here to see the agenda.
