  1. The North Kingstown School Committee meets again tonight at 7 p.m. in the North Kingstown High School auditorium. The committee looks to see a presentation on bullying from Stony Lane Elementary School Principal Ed Ferrario, consider a new parking policy for the high school and discuss the budget. Last week, the North Kingstown Town Council voted to level-fund the school department, denying the department's request for $713,000.
  2. Yesterday, four North Kingstown liquor stores got some snazzy new hardware to battle fake ID usage. The scanners, costing about $900 each, read the magntic strips and bar codes on the back of licenses and ID cards and, if the machine can't read the information, the card is denied. , , and will all be hosting these scanners.   5. You probably won't be needed the sunglasses today as forecasters are predicting cloudy skies and breezy conditions with a few showers possible. High temperatures will linger in the upper 50s before dropping into the 40s overnight. Tomorrow looks to be more of the same, with cloudy skies and a chance of showers with high temperatures in the upper 50s.
