5 Things: Wickford Plan, Turkey Day & More

Five things to know for Nov. 17.

  1. Get the kids in on the Turkey Day festivities this year with some Thanksgiving crafts. Head to the North Kingstown Library's Young Readers area all day today for drop-in Thanksgiving craft for kids. No registration necessary.
  2. The Wickford Plan Committee meets tonight night at 5:30 p.m. at North Kingstown Town Hall.
  3. Give back this holiday season by donating blood at tomorrow morning. From 8 to 11 a.m. tomorrow morning, the Rhode Island South County Donor Center will host a to help collect the 240 to 280 pints of bloody daily to meet the needs of the community. Click here to make an appointment.
  4. Thanksgiving is a week from today. So if you need to order food, get decorations, make travel arrangements, mentally prepare for your lovable but sometimes deranged family, etc., you might want to start that soon.
