5 Things: Rolling Greens, Beechwood Belles & The Last Week of School

Today's five essentials

  1. Tomorrow, the North Kingstown Planning Commission will readdress the issue of a proposed at Rolling Greens Golf Course on Ten Rod Road. The meeting will be held at the Cold Spring Community Center at 7:30 p.m.
  2. The Belles of will be donning their self-made hats today at starting at noon. (The belles made their hats back in May.) Reservations required, so call Isabel at 885-2308.
  3. Get your learn on outside of the classroom and inexpensively! Stop by the every Monday and .
  4. Parents across North Kingstown: we hope you're sitting down for this one, because this is the last week of school. Yes, your precious little angels will be home a lot more starting next week. Plan accordingly.
  5. If the sunburns on my back are any indication, summer is officially here. (Side note: any advice on how to alleviate the pain would be much appreciated. Please no wisecracks including, but not limited to, "You know, they invented this thing called sunscreen.") After this largely gorgeous weekend, this coming week we'll have a chance of showers nearly every day. Tomorrow will be hazy with sun and pretty warm with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. Tomorrow, more haziness with more clouds rolling in and an evening rain shower possibly with highs in the high 70s and lower 80s.
