5 Things: Rapture, Ribbon-Cutting & More Weekend Fun

This weekend's five essentials.

  2. It's almost the season for sitting out on the deck and reading a good book. Stock up for the summer at the tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the .
  3. Congrats to the University of Rhode Island's Class of 2011, who will be graduating this weekend.
  4. Apparently, tomorrow is the Rapture...at least according to Christian radio broadcaster Harold Camping. Plan accordingly.
  5. Good news: we'll have less rain this weekend! Forecasters are predicting more showers today with highs in the lower 60s. Tomorrow, we'll have a 30 percent chance of showers with highs also in the lower 60s. Sunday, no rain expected but cloudy skies are anticipated as highs dip into the upper 50s.
