5 Things: Planning Commission, Stars & Sea Level Rise

Five things to know for April 16.

1.  It's April vacation for NK students! Bring the kids down to at the North Kingstown Free Library today. The presentation discusses orbits, microgravity, rockets, living in space and much more. Also includes live demonstrations, experiments and even an astronaut flight suit! Starts at 2 p.m. Please register.

2.  The North Kingstown Planning Commission meets on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at town hall. On the agenda, the commission will see a presentation on climate change and discuss possible zoning changes and comprehensive plan amendments for Wickford Village Center.

The University of Rhode Island Coastal Resources Center/Rhode Island Sea Grant is hosting a free public event at North Kingstown Free Library this week.
