5 Things: Leap Year, RESP & Snow

Five things to know for Feb. 29.

1.  Happy birthday to our Leap Year babies out there, including one of our newest bloggers Live it up, folks: it'll be another four years until the next one!

2.  Catch an overall project update at tomorrow night's Renewable Energy Siting Partnership (RESP) meeting. Runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Corless Auditorium at URI's Narragansett Bay Campus. Space is limited, so reserve your spot by calling 401-874-6106 or email resp@gso.uri.edu.

3.  Support your local businesses this weekend and partake in a cash mob. Bring $20 to Wickford Village Saturday to spend at your favorite shop and/or eatery.

4.  Wickford Little League will be holding its final in-person registration tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cold Spring Community Center near town beach. Following the registration, there will also be a membership meeting for those wishing to manage a team. 

5.  Today: a chance of rain before 1 p.m. then snow with highs near 39. Tonight: rain and snow with lows around 33. Tomorrow: rain and snow likely in the morning with highs near 44.
