5 Things: Healthy Community, Council Meeting & More

Five things to know for March 25.

1.  Working Together For Wellness (NK's substance abuse prevention coalition) and the United Methodist Church will hold a community forum today. The forum, called "Keeping Our Community Healthy and Connected," will host a panel of local leaders to provide input on concerns unique to NK. Coffee and light dinner refreshments will be served, accompanied by live guitar music. Runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. Learn more here.

2.  The North Kingstown Town Council meets tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at Beechwood Senior Center. On the agenda, – will withdraw his application seeking a comprehensive plan amendment and zoning ordinance changes for his proposed village center. (The council .) 3.  Tuesday night, the North Kingstown School Committee meets at 7 p.m. at the high school. On the agenda, Superintendent Phil Auger will present a proposal for Davisville Elementary School.
