@Peggy, I said nothing of the office, and everything about the person in it. @Spring, Chris matthews is a liberal shoe-polisher and during the election, while a bit "tipsy" on air, stated he would do anything in his power to get obama elected....nice partisan reporting. Gas prices when Obama took office: $1.68/gal Gas prices now: over $4.00/gal Is this the change he was speaking of?...LOL

Obamacare exemptions: 733 companies and unions encompassing over 2million workers. In January 2009 142 million US citizens had jobs. In July 2011 139 million had jobs. Promised to close Gitmo but still open. Just a little bit more of that "Hope and Change" for ya.

Tired NK antics, By the information you regurgitate I take it you've been on a strict diet of talk radio and Fox News..When the GOP assumed the majority in the House of Representatives, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) admitted that their "top political priority" — as — was to "deny President Obama a second term." As such, the GOP, particularly in the House, has spent its legislative time on anything and everything BUT legislation to help the struggling economy get back on its feet or to spur job creation. Instead, they've introduced bill after bill on hot-button issues, particularly women's reproductive health and they've dragged the economy to the brink of disaster by playing political games with the debt ceiling.

Measures passed or introduced by House Republicans would, if signed into law, potentially eliminate up to 7.4 million jobs. For example... Passed By The House Of Representatives: H.R. 1 - Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act, 2011 Moody's Analytics Economist Mark Zandi Estimates Job Losses To Be About 700,000 By 2012. According to Moody's chief economist Mark Zandi: "The House Republicans' proposal would reduce 2011 real GDP growth by 0.5% and 2012 growth by 0.2 percentage points. This would mean some 400,000 fewer jobs created by the end of 2011 and 700,000 fewer jobs by the end of 2012." [Economy.com, 2/28/11] Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke said that House GOP's 2011 spending plan would likely cost "a couple hundred thousand jobs". I can write for days...

And Tire NK antics...lets take a trip back to the spring of 2009 when discussions bout closing Guantanamo hit the airwaves... Senators and Representatives making false and incendiary accusations and commentary, willfully ignoring facts. Examples: Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) “closing Guantanamo Bay presents a clear and present danger to all Americans.” Rep. Steven King (R-IA) "closing Gitmo could put 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed “on a path to citizenship” and claimed that "Obama’s actions could be the beginning of shutting down the activities of the CIA.” ...I can write for days....

Peggy Peggy Peggy, this is Obamas presidency he has veto authority on any legislaton. Stop trying to blame others for his inability to lead and govern. His inexperienced mouth wrote checks far beyond his ability to cash. Unfortunately for us all he probably will win re-election. But that does not change the fact that he is vert close to surpassing Jimmy Carter as the worst president in our history.

Regurgitating right wing talk radio and Fox "News" (anyone from Newscorp in prison yet?) will earn you little respect. Get back to me with your own fact based arguments, then I'll gladly engage..I enjoyed sparing with you, have a goodnight :)
