5 Things: Election, Picket & School Committee

Five things to know for Sept. 10.

1.  RI Future is reporting that North Kingstown's support professionals are planning to picket once again on Monday morning, protesting the outsourcing of the school district's custodial services. Check back with North Kingstown Patch for updates as this story develops.

2.  The North Kingstown Parades Committee is inviting local residents to take part in a special flag raising ceremony at the town beach on Sept. 11 at 8 a.m. for Patriot Day. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event.
