5 Things: Council Meeting, Primary Recounts & More

Five things to know for Sept. 17.

1.  The North Kingstown Town Council meets tonight at 6:30 p.m., starting with an executive session. On the agenda, the council will discuss contract agreements with Local 1033, designating town hall as part of the Wickford Historic District, the Festival of Lights and more. Check the full agenda here.

2.  Recounts of several primary races are happening today, including the race for House District 32 between Republicans Sharon Gamba and incumbent Rep. Laurence Ehrhardt, who won by 16 votes. Check back with Patch for updates on the recount.
