5 Things: Council Meeting, Frenchtown Road & More

Five things to know for May 6.

1.  The North Kingstown Town Council meets tonight at 5:30 p.m. at town hall. Check here for the full agenda.

2.  Tomorrow, the North Kingstown Planning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. at town hall. On the agenda, the commission will hold a public hearing for a comprehensive plan amendment for the Commons at Frenchtown and other zoning changes and discuss the project for a proposed development on Frenchtown Road.

3.  On Wednesday, Gov. Lincoln Chafee will be in town for a business community outreach forum at Beechwood Center. Joining him will be North Kingstown Town Manager Michael Embury and representatives from the RI EDC, Department of Labor and Training, and more to discuss the economy and speak to small businesses. This forum starts at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
