5 Things: Capt. Mowbray, Rolling Greens & Dunkin' Donuts

Five things to know for Nov. 26.

1.  Rescue Captain David Mowbray of the North Kingstown Fire Department passed away this past weekend. Calling hours will be held at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave. in Warwick) from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. 

2.  The North Kingstown Town Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Beechwood Center. The big ticket item on the agenda will be The Preserve at Rolling Greens. The council will hold a public hearing and hear a presentation from the developer. Check here for the full agenda.

3.  The NK Zoning Boards meets tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at town hall to decide the fate of a proposed Dunkin' Donuts outside Wickford Village.

4.  Also tomorrow night, the North Kingstown School Committee meets at the high school at 7 p.m. On the agenda, the committee will discuss maintenance proposals for remaining bond funds. Click here for the full agenda.

5.  Today: sunny with highs near 48. Tonight: partly cloudy with lows around 30. Tomorrow: a chance of snow before noon then a chance of rain with highs near 43.
