5 Things: Art Festival, Community Gardens & More

1.  We can't believe it's already time for the Wickford Art Festival. The village's biggest event is celebrating its 50th anniversary next weekend. .

2.  Healthy Places by Design is holding another meeting today. Stop by the YMCA at 1 p.m. for a working group meeting on community gardens and access to healthy food.

3.  With all the hoopla around yesterday's farmers market in Wickford, let's not forget about the Coastal Growers Market down at Casey Farm! Runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

4.  Running for public office this year? Before you post those lawn signs, bust out the palm cards and hit the campaign trail, there's something else you should do: blog!
