5 Things: Art Fest, Readers' Choice & Restaurant Week

Five things to know for July 8.

1.  Today's your last chance to get down to the Wickford Art Festival. Check out more than 250 artists on the streets of the village from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Click here for more information and here for details on the parking situation.

2.  You have until Monday to submit your nominations for Readers' Choice. Vote for the best sandwich shop, place to grab a drink and more.

4.  The school department's facilities sub-committee meets tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. in the central administration building on Fairway Drive. The committee will be discussing boilers and holding tanks at the high school, a recommendation for the remaining $1.8 million of a 2004 school bond and more. Check here for the full agenda.
